Ravi Jamda’s entrepreneurial journey didn’t start in a boardroom, but in the fragrant coffee auctions of South India. Driven by a childhood fascination with the complex aromas of his grandfather’s kitchen, Ravi spent a decade mastering the nuances of bean selection and thermal profiles.
His passion for roasting is almost obsessive. “Every bean has a story it wants to tell,” Ravi often says. “Our job is simply to give it the right temperature to speak.” Under his leadership, Mikado has transformed from a boutique roastery into a beacon of Indian specialty coffee excellence.
Beyond the business, Ravi is committed to sustainable farming practices, working closely with estate owners to improve soil health and picker welfare—ensuring the future of Indian coffee is as bright as its past.
